Official Belt Grading

Official Belt Grading

Official Belt Grading

All Shinkyokushinkai members across the globe must pass special skill, technique and physical endurance examinations, which are supervised by official Shinkyokushinkai Organisations in order to acquire belts. All examiners are highly accomplished Shinkyokushinkai athletes or instructors who are a part of a national or an international federation, and who have the right to referee in official tournaments and competitions.

All acquired belts are recognised worldwide and signify the athlete’s skill, knowledge and status on a global scale.

Examinations are held only twice a year and demand that the candidates for a higher belt demonstrate perfect Shinkyokushinkai offensive and defensive techniques in front of the examiners while changing stances, apply their offensive and defensive skills in multiple fights against other candidates, and prove their physical strength and endurance by completing various gruelling physical tasks and exercises.
